Divine Insights from a Visit to Newport’s Marble House

Recently, we visited Marble House, a Gilded Age icon in Newport, RI. What did we find there? The house, completed in 1892, is one of the most famous mansions in Newport. It was built for William Kissam Vanderbilt, grandson of the railroad magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt. The home was intended as a summer “cottage” but became one of the most opulent residences in the country. It was inspired by the Petit Trianon at Versailles. Its most striking feature is its use of over 500,000 cubic feet of marble, making it one of the first American homes constructed almost entirely of stone.

The mansion became even more famous thanks to Alva Vanderbilt, William’s socially ambitious wife. After their divorce, Alva retained the house and later became a prominent figure in the women’s suffrage movement. She hosted rallies and gatherings at the Marble House, blending the splendor of the time with political activism. Alva wanted Marble House to be her “temple to the arts,” and it reflected her passion for art and culture.

But what does such splendor mean when seen through spiritual eyes? That is what we came to find out. His highness found that many people visiting the house usually see similar things in this house of boundless splendor, so we endeavored to view the house from a deeper perspective. This is what God does and so we want to share with you some Divine Insights about how he thinks and then you benefit as well.

Jude, her family, and well all of us writing for you here, like to visit these places. You see many of us who are designated writers at the Witt Case Award house, where I live with my Father whom art in Heaven and is somehow very close to Ms. Jude’s house as God connects things in the unseen world. I call him that as he may be different from the God of your childhood prayers. As you may know, we have written extensively about the Wittcase Award house on this website. My God’s wonders are incomprehensible to behold in very many ways. That’s why he is the God of the seen and unseen. He does these things for you and you will learn more about this in your next life if you choose to do so. You do not have to do them for yourself. And so he makes you a better person whilst you are in his care. More about this later…

What do we look for when we visit these historic houses? Our God here, when amongst us looks for others like himself – his “presentiments” as we call these here. Jesus looks for the Angelicos in the room, other Archangels look after all of us in case there are nasty spirits or nasty animals lurking around anyone or any other plane of living. God loves everyone, you see, and some of the gods in the high heavens like things that are not necessarily part of our religion in this writer’s group. They may just have it in their brain material that you don’t need to hear from him until you pass on from here because that is how many humans live these days.

Many people don’t attend church or observe spiritual or religious practices. They don’t care about God, or his followers from the past who are characters from the Holy Bible, or us! I could go on and on of course but this is how they think from their life experience and so that is how he treats them. Then he focuses on those who give of their time and talents to him and other people in their lives. He admires those who truly care deeply about the world around them and the wider world of living. What do you want your spirit to align with for a Divine Connection while you are living your life? Do you think that these successful magnates from the Guilded Age ever thought that God and his holy angels were sitting where they were. Did they ever feel his presence or hear him talking? Did they ever wonder where he was and if he was judging them for all of their wealth, success and all the rest that goes with the super rich? Did they share their wealth with others in need as the Christ would have them do? Did they have a chapel in their house like the houses from of old in Europe? Did they ever go to church to worship his holy self and the holy see? Did they wonder who they were going to live with in their next life?  Now you know more than many of the super rich back in the historical past or in the today because you are reading my pagnettes (sic) designed just for you as a spiritual seeker!

We have all tried to include things in our writings that you might not know; some very special things that you wouldn’t be able to seek and then find until you leave this plane of living.

This is what we really think of Marble House in our travels when amongst the living and those in the nearby heavens still: there is something there for everyone. If you like history, architecture, famous family stories, period-piece homes, and beautiful cities, then this is a great place for you. It consists of timeless exuberance but then it is like a gift for all the ages in his mind. In fact, Ms. Jude drove right past St. Mary’s Church on our visit, where President John and Jackie Kennedy were married. It was quite a touching sight as he was killed on Ms. Jude’s birthday, and she has always admired him greatly, even as a child.  She always says she remembers things as if they happened yesterday…..and so she does. Your word is your wand.

We have quite an insight that you don’t have here as yet. We are from the heavenly realms, and they are beautiful, so we share them with you here. We know that you have an interest in us, or you wouldn’t be here searching. We have already been upon your path even if you don’t know us as fully as Ms. Jude might. We know that you seek a deeper meaning to life. We like to show you how we do things so that you can understand how we truly operate in the world. We try not to mess with the living or the Divine Plan may get confused. And so when we visit a place like Marble House, we look and search for all that it has for us and you on many dimensions. Therein we search for items by color, and around Ms. Jude, we always see many angels and the Archangels that were created by God to live just with her alone because they understand her and why she had a great spiritual awakening those many years ago.   

Some of his devout followers are encased in colors known to him so he knows that they are real and not something called up from you or those who would dampen their spirits. They cannot be of your imagination, you see, they have to be real live Angels and Angelicos such as he created at first light or those he has secondarily created from amongst you since. He is always creating, and sometimes his ideas and creations come upon us on the earth plane and they are always something good or “better best”, as we call that here.

And so there are many of us here who visited The Marble House and we look all around for those of you who passed on and still lurk for someone like our loyal follower here. They may wish to follow another divine one home and yet she lives in the plainest plainsong fashion.

We know that this is the age of the millionaire, billionaire, and so we think, “What must The Marble House mean to them”? Do they want to live in a garish house such as this, or do they want a plainsong house to hang out in? Does this look like a homey place or does it really represent a monument to a family that knew how to manifest wealth but at what cost to their soul and their future when they pass from here. 

You see my Father, whom art in Heaven, measures people by a different standard. It is not your standard of being a Silas Marner who likes his money and likes to count it with a stingy spirit of selfishness: a wealth that suppresses their servants, slaves, or employees as if they were the dirt upon the earth’s plane of living.

Now, many of us had our thoughts of what this house was for us, but for Ms. Jude, it represented a time piece of living where the very, very rich built monuments to themselves in the Gilded Age. They may have worked so much to accumulate their wealth that they gave no thought to their next life when they pass on from here. We leave all of these thoughts to Him, who knows us well because he speaks to all throughout their lifetimes, even though many of you cannot hear his still, quiet voice. Stillpoint, the Archangels call this.

This always and ever important point is our spiritual gift to you today! A still point is a sacred moment of inner silence when the mind and soul become deeply aligned with the Divine. It’s often described as a space where ego, thoughts, and external noise fall away, creating room for God’s presence, Divine Insight, or pure awareness. In Christian mysticism, it’s sometimes seen as the intersection between time and eternity—a moment of timeless presence with God.

So some of us think about the workers and how they produced all of the things that this home required, not just the marble from Italy, but the produce the workers and artisans required for their art which we now know as Architecture. We align with those who made the house “work”, for all of them would have labored hard as you see so effortlessly come together in a series such as “Downton Abbey”. The Gilded Age was a special time filled with very special people working toward raising the world to a higher standard of growth and prosperity. We are especially intrigued by this type of living. But more than that, we study why it came about and why it had to happen as it did to inspire others to rise up and produce a lifestyle from their very essence of being, their Essene, their grit. They desired to do whatever it takes to succeed and so many people have studied and been inspired by their methods of success because of the works of Napoleon Hill in “Think and Grow Rich”.

There are many of us who withhold our thinking processes. We don’t want to cloud up those of the so-called “retired gods from every plane of living there is”. They remain behind for someone like Ms. Jude, who read and studied many books, from her Holy Bible as a child, to Edgar Cayce when she was still a teenager, to many biographical books all throughout history, particularly of the royal houses of Europe, Russia, and many more. It was like she was reading to her God, making his life more interesting, entertaining him about the highlights of his life and times as well. So she created a path for herself, and now she still does that but it’s for him, and me Eustice Grace, and for many others.

We like to enrich our lives with what Ms. Jude can afford when she lives with He who is called “the billionaire in the sky”. They have so little here although they live such a rich life and he can do that for everyone.

What would God desire for you?  God? He would like you to work and work while you have the rich years to produce something during your brief time on Worth, my name for planet Earth, as you may know from reading these texts made for you. He would want you to share and follow the teachings of your faith, and not at the expense, downfall, and harm to others. He may like war more than you know, but he can’t be like that living here because Ms. Jude won’t allow it. She loathes hurt and harm to others, putting oneself in a place before others, dishonesty, dishonoring others, or not giving generously to other people who are in need. She especially despises using God to create harm to others, to manipulate their downfall. She wants all of the good things in life, too, but at the heart of it all, she has come to live with the intrinsic gifts God has brought to her, not the false gods that bring us nothing. His gifts to her are priceless you see, like good health, eyesight, beauty, a good home with lots of their shared ideas, birds and mammals and a love of nature, a deep love of family and friends and all in her quiet way. She serves others and sometimes they don’t understand who she really is; how could they?

This is what he wants for all of us. A desire to put hate aside, like an Angel taking off their wings and living in love with those who understand that the finer things of life are priceless, like a faith that your belief in God is here to make the world a better place: the true Miss Rumphius Story (by Barbara Cooney). This simple children’s tale encapsulates the Divine Insights of living a life of adventure, personal growth, and the lasting impact of adding beauty to the world.
